Notes: Prixie who arrived in our care as a stray. She is a senior Pittie, around 15 years old, weighs 39 lbs, off stray hold and now looking for a more calm environment to call hers. Prixie was infested with fleas on intake and had a rectal/perianal mass that needed to be removed. She seems to be doing well after surgery, but you can tell a noisy shelter is not where she wants her healing to be. Prixie will remain in a cone for around 14 days. She is in need of a more calm environment where she can heal.

Prixie's favorite things are wet dog food, comfy blankets and slow rubs. She is also Lyme and Ehrlichia positive, which are two tick-borne diseases. She needs a fresh start and we hope she touches the heart of someone who would be able to help. Prixie is available for transfer to help her get into a foster home where she could have a more calm environment. Please someone give this Pittie the chance she so deserves. We love this beautiful girl at our shelter and grateful we have been able to give her the care she needs, but now she needs you to help.
