Notes: Just an itty bitty Pittie hoping to capture the heart of a family that is missing about 39 lbs of adorableness in their home. Dixie Faye who came into our care as an owner surrender. She came into our care due to problems with the landlord. We wish nothing more than this beautiful sweet soul find her place again. Dixie Faye is so very nervous with shelter life as she feels her whole world has been flipped upside down. According to her previous family, Dixie Faye is around 4 years old, is housebroken and good with kids. They said she does not always get along with female dogs. If another dog is in the home we would want a meet and greet. Dixie Faye has since been spayed while in our care, so this may help with attitude to other dogs. Our vet believes Dixie Faye has a heart murmur and a visit to cardiologist is recommended (we have a great list our vet recommended).
Dixie Faye truly is needing out of shelter life and back into a home where she is loved and spoiled like the beautiful princess she wants to to be. She walks easy on leash and is so very sweet. She will roll over for belly rubs as she just wants your love. Dixie Faye has been spayed, up to date on vaccines and 4dx tested(all negative).This dog has been available for 3 days

Dog adoption fee is $95 cash or check which includes spay/neuter.

- Adoption of dogs is open to residents of Greene, Madison, Page, Rockingham, Albemarle and Orange County areas of Virginia.
- Dogs that have been spayed/neutered are available for adoption to any location including out of state residents.
