Notes: Brisa is a gorgeous Lab/Poodle mix. She came into our shelter back in July as she was a momma to 2 litters of puppies, one from last year and one from this year that were both surrendered to our shelter. Brisa is guessed to be young herself at 1-2 years old and weighs around 55 lbs. We offered spay assistance for Brisa’s previous family but sadly Brisa started adventuring away from her home, which could have gotten her in trouble so she was owner surrendered. Brisa is a remarkable girl, but unfortunately becomes dog reactive when meeting new friends. Brisa has had so many fall in love but between her energy level and her reaction with other dogs no one has been able to give this girl what she needs. She needs a patient home. Brisa is very playful and so lovable, she loves playing with toys. If there is a home with no other animals that would be the best for Brisa. She is very people friendly and walks OK on leash but is excited when first going on a walk. Brisa has been spayed and is up to date on vaccines.

Do not forget to bring your pets inside when it is too cold outside. IF IT IS TOO COLD FOR YOU, IT IS TOO COLD FOR THEM! The law says: During cold weather, a dog shelter must have a windbreak at its entrance and have bedding material that is sufficient to protect the animal from cold and promote the retention of body heat.
